Soroptimist International of Pasco-Kennewick is a member-driven organization. The future of our club rests on new ideas, new energy, and new resources that incoming members bring. At the same time, our motto for members is "Do what you can, when you can." No one is pressured to commit to more responsibility than she feels she can handle.

What are the benefits of membership?

You’ll be part of a network of 66,000 women in 120 countries working to improve the status of women and girls.

You’ll see your work bear fruit. You’ll witness the joyous light in the eyes of teen girls planning a career at the Dream It, Be It conference.

You’ll be inspired by the renewed hope of women who may have contemplated giving up their dreams of a college degree because of the expense, but can now graduate because of our educational awards. They can pursue careers that support their families and contribute to our community.

You’ll be encouraged by community members who give generously to ensure our programs succeed.

Beyond that, you will form tight friendships and have fun!

  • Membership dues are $135 if you join between July 1 through December. They are discounted a little if you join from January 1 to the end of June. This covers the club year, which runs from July 1 to June 30. Every year after that, it’s $125.

  • Many of our members are unable to break away at lunchtime for our club meetings, and that is okay. Some of our meetings are accessible virtually. And our committees, where most of the action really happens, are scheduled at various times through the month, either in-person or virtual.
